What exactly is the Lakewood Fellowship?

How long does the program run?
The program runs between 6-8 weeks over summer break, giving students a focused and immersive experience. In some cases, interns may have the option to continue beyond the official program dates if their placement offers an extension.

The program is intended for college students seeking hands-on internship experience, mentorship, and a growth-oriented summer with like minded Jewish peers.
What is the daily schedule?
Internships run Monday - Thursday during regular business hours. Your exact schedule depends on your placement.

What about housing and meals?
Students stay in our newly built state of the art facility at 1301 Central Avenue in Lakewood, NJ. The dorm includes beautiful upgraded rooms, student lounges, wifi, fully equipped fitness center, full court gym, outdoor patios plus more. We provide bed linen and one towel per intern, there is a laundry room available .
Breakfast and dinner are served daily, and there is ample food for interns to pack a lunch to go.
What is the schedule over the weekend?
Most weekends at the Lakewood Fellowship open with a Thursday night business party. Friday and Sunday mornings feature one-one learning sessions, and unforgettable Shabbat dinners with the community—great food, real connections, and a relaxed, fun vibe. Sunday is reserved for group-building experiences with an exciting outing that brings everyone together and builds genuine camaraderie among the guys.

We work with a diverse range of employers, from leading national companies to small, local businesses. Our network spans industries such as finance, technology, healthcare, real estate, education, and more, giving you a meaningful, hands-on experiences tailored to the size and focus that best suits you.
Thanks to generous donors, the program is heavily subsidized.
Interns pay a $1,000 program fee for the full six -week experience which includes room and board, all meals, organized trips and activities. Need based scholarships are available. Please have your campus rabbi reach out to Rabbi Moishe Katz for details. mkatz@torahlinks.org
Once accepted to the program a deposit of $250 is necessary before we forward your resume to the agreed upon company. The deposit is non-refundable unless you are not accepted by the company. The deposit goes towards the program tuition.
